WomenLead Donates $2,000 to My Sister's Place

GLASTONBURY, CONNECTICUT, February 1, 2008…WomenLead presented My Sister’s Place with the proceeds raised during WomenLead’s fourth annual Jingle Bell Mingle.  Through the generous raffle donations of local businesses and support of the community that came out November 27, 2007, WomenLead raised $2,000 for My Sister’s Place.  The presentation occurred on January 17, 2008, at Connecticut River Community Bank in Glastonbury, CT.  (Please see attached photo.) 

My Sister’s Place is a safe house and stepping stone for women in distress in the Hartford area. Women helping women – it’s what we are all about! 

WomenLead is an organization comprised of female professionals to create opportunities for other female business owners and executives through knowledge and relationship building.
